I feel like an island hopper. What is with only making 1 island at a time.
Yes it takes an hour to get from one to the next and yes it takes 5-6 hours to paddle the length but that is 1 a day.
Alright so technically I made 2. Blackbeard Island is a national reserve so to had to go to Saplo island.
I thought there was enough water to get across the mud flat but the tide went out quicker. I was stuck in the mud for 2 hours before I had enough water to paddle out.
Set up camp on end of island on a small beach.
Phone now dead.
