On beach in NJ. thunderstorms, winds n rain, can you say hunker down. Good day to sleep.
wind has blown so hard it blew water right thru fly material. i have a puddle in one corner and the upwind side is bowed in.
chatting with my son on messenger he informed me he had a friend in Brick, NJ. Looking at a map it looks like i could make Brick late tomorrow afternoon if things work out with his friend.
Courageous, intrepid, persistent, resilient, durable (mostly), hard-headed and a man of integrity. That’s you. Heaven forbid I call you a hero…because I’d hear the same old spiel yet again. But a hero helps other people in spite of seemingly insurmountable odds. Heros are not victims of a catastrophe or doing their chosen job when calling them such suits someone’s purpose. While I am not allowed to call you a hero Joe I think it fits you. No comment requested 🙂

i guess hero like expert is a perception one person has of another. Therefor it is not my place to disagree or argue it anymore.
