Steve made me bacon eggs n toast breakfast and gave me 2 bananas for the trip. Said my goodbyes to Lisa and Steve drove me to the Cove.
Sunshine light wind and slow tide. I packed the kayak and set off across thr inlet for Atlantic city coastline. It was a good paddle until the wind picked up and the tide changcityed. O was also navigating through or around those damn marshes.
I made it to the meeting point and will try to stealth camp here and meet the other kayakers tomorrow. Looking forward to tomorrow.
Well goid fortune struck again. Bart and Agnes were fishing on the beach and we struck up a conversation. Bart asked me to come stay at their place tonight and he will drive me back in the morning to meet Dave’s kayak group.
