Launched from boat ramp looking for a leisure paddle to the cove. Then came the marsh I really hate that stuff. I thought I found a channel through. The channel narrowed and the water got low so it was get out and pull. Get stuck in the mud. I had to dig out one of my boots as the mud would not let go. I finally had enough and pulled the kayak on top of marsh and pulled it to open water. Both the kayak and i were covered in mud. Washed it the best i could.
Got to cove put the yak on dolly and was looking to camp there. I was talking to various people about Mission22. I met Steve and Lisa and they invited me to spend the night at there house.
