My hat goes off to those that do this. I never realized how much work this is.

I do not have much time to spend on things like this but it is necessary for what I am doing.
Can anyone help me on this. I want to have the title and information on top and very visable.
I want the Mission22 logo in the middle and large. Then I want my sponsors logos to each side. I want West Marine and Garmin to stay side by side with West Marine first. Here is my attempt in Word.
I received yet another reject letter about sponsorship of my trip. It appears from the latest that fishing is much more important than veterans lives.
I guess in the corporate world there is no longer any room for compassion for fellow human beings or goodwill. It is about shareholder equity only.
I am still holding out hope as i still am waiting to hear from 2 other companies. I hope i am not totally dissapointed.
I am committed to this trip even though i can barely afford it. I hope i can still rely on the good hearts of good people to help me along the way.

We had 5 inches of snow a few days ago. Then Saturday night into Sunday we got another 16 inches. The roads are not plowed to the pavement and my routes to the water are blocked with snow.Temps are in the single digits and low teens. I really need to be on the water but i wouldn’t be able to stay long.
Started new year busy.
Finished spreadsheet of all kayak shops on east coast.
Finished final copy of second press release
Sent out press release to most tv stations and kayak shops.
Updated my calander with days off and counted actual work days until i retire.
Applied for PTSD treatment.

It is the time of year for family and parties with friends. A time to fight the crowds to get last minute shopping done.
Well those of us with PTSD have to struggle with what others can get through easily.
Crowds make us nervous and anxious. To maintain any sense of normalcy is a struggle.
I food shop at the Target next to work. I have a hard time getting down the main aisle full of people and if the tegisters lines are backed up i begin to panic. I walk as fast as i can down the main aisle because the food section is like a sancuary. Not many people buying food.
Then its time to run the gauntlet back to the registers. Finding a short line is a great feat of scanning and tactical manuevers. When i am done and out the door into open air i feel a great relief.
So if you know someone with PTSD and they are reluctant to put themselves in a situation that is hard to handle for them please understand it isn’t their fault. They are trying to be normal but it is extremely difficult.

If the person you know is a veteran tell them it takes a strong person to ask for help.
I finisheuestd planning the stops and emailing those that can help me or can direct me to the right people.
Sent out two more sponsorship request.
Wrote the next press release.
Have taken to expanding my social media to get the word out.
So much work for one person but the cause keeps me focused and energized.
I have decided i will post here daily on my daily plans talk abouth the events and share my thoughts.

Then the hard part wait and hope.
